After the post-Christmas blizzard last month, the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association began signing up residents to serve as “block captains” so that we could quickly file comprehensive reports on emergency conditions in our community. In just under a month, we’ve signed up 36 Block Captains covering 59 blocks, approximately 25 percent of Woodhaven.
