Long-shuttered Forest Park Carousel will spin by the spring

Both historic carousels in Queens will be spinning again by the spring, city parks officials promised Tuesday. “Over the past few years, I have received a lot of calls from parents asking when the carousel is going to be open,” said Ed Wendell of the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association. “We’re happy we have some positive news to share.”
