What we've got here is a failure to communicate

The DOT never notified the residents of 96th Street that during the day nearly 25 percent of their parking spots would be off-limits. That lack of communication is a costly oversight—to the tune of $115 per ticket. We respectfully ask the DOT to do the right thing. Tear up those tickets.
