WRBA to hold rail line forum

The debate over what to do with the defunct Rockaway Beach Long Island Rail Road line has fallen into two major camps—those who want to restore service and those who want to turn it into a green space. The future of the line is a key issue for Woodhaven, for which the right of way serves as a border with Richmond Hill and runs just behind people’s homes. The Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association will host a forum for Woodhaven residents on the rail line on Saturday. Sept. 29 at 1 p.m.
