The Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association (WRBA) objected to the redistricting proposal, charging that it not only kept the neighborhood split between two City Council districts, but also swapped the areas which they represented. News of the withdrawal of the commission’s final draft was welcomed by Alex Blenkinsopp, communications director of the WRBA.
