Landmarks Preservation Commission to open landmarking procedure for historic Forest Park Carousel

“We all just want what’s best for the carousel,” said Ed Wendell of the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association, who used a Facebook page to keep attention focused on the site when it was closed. “It would be exciting to have something landmarked in the community,” Wendell added. “But we really want to hear more about what the plans are, and what landmarking means.”
