Fed up with an increase in crime in the Woodhaven area that included the recent murder of a 27-year-old man at a local subway station, ranking members of the Woodhaven Residents Block Association resolved to take action during their Aug. 18 meeting at the office of the Woodhaven-Richmond Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
