In South Queens, new districts deliver fear

“It’s unfair and counterproductive to the representatives, and to us, to split up communities,” said Ed Wendell, president of the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association. “We’re onto our third congressman in a year and a half, and I’m not sure what our relationship is going to be like....  These people we have no rapport with are coming in, and we’re going to feel like a second thumb.”
