Woodhaven residents wage war on mailbox graffiti by cleaning it off to lure vandals to strike again

Fed up with mailbox graffiti, Woodhaven residents created a unique plan to brush out the unwanted art. Members of the Woodhaven Neighborhood Block Association employed a new comprehensive mapping method to combat the old problem of graffiti. Residents said they also found a new community zeal in the program that aimed to map every United States Postal Box in the neighborhood, brush over graffiti, and monitor when the culprit strikes next.
