Generations of children will get to enjoy the Forest Park Carousel for years to come after the merry-go-round was declared a landmark on Tuesday, June 25. “The Forest Park Carousel means so much to countless residents in Woodhaven and across the city,” said Ed Wendell, president of the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association. “This designation is long overdue, but now that it’s here, we’re thrilled.”
